Questions people ask
What if my PDF can't get under 100 KB?
Very long or photo-heavy PDFs may not fit. We tell you the smallest size we reached, and you can split the PDF and try again.
Will the text still be readable?
We try the lightest change first and only shrink images further if needed, so text stays clear in most documents.
Is my document uploaded?
No. Compression runs in your browser; the file never leaves your device.
Why do application forms have size limits?
Government, exam and job portals often accept only small files, for example a photo under 50 KB or a document under 200 KB.
What if my file can't get that small?
We'll tell you the smallest size we could reach. For PDFs, removing pages you don't need helps; for photos, cropping out the background helps.
Does the photo keep its dimensions?
We keep them when possible. If the limit is very small, we also reduce the width and height and show you the final size in pixels.
