- Choose the length. 16 characters or more is a good choice for most accounts.
- Pick the characters. Using capitals, small letters, numbers and symbols together makes a password much harder to crack.

Yes. Passwords are made in your browser with your device's secure random number generator. They're never sent to us or stored.
How long should a password be?
At least 12 characters; 16 or more is better. Length matters more than anything else.
Should I use a different password for every site?
Yes. If one site is breached, the others stay safe. A password manager remembers them for you.
